Leadership team
The Council’s decisions are carried out by the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River administration, led by chief executive officer Gary Evershed. The Shire employs over 120 staff who maintain the day-to-day operations of the shire and provide advice to elected members on the long term management and strategic growth of the shire.
The executive comprises of the Chief Executive Officer - Gary Evershed, Director of Corporate and Community Services - Cary Green, Director Planning and Developmental Services - Geoff Broad and Director Infrastructure Services - Wayne Prangnell.
