The area abounds with natural beauty and the coastal scenery is rugged and breathtaking in many parts.

These include aquatic and recreation centres, active reserves, passive reserves, cultural centre, hard courts, boat launching facilities, barbecue areas, trails, cycle ways and pathways, foreshores, skateboard park and youth centre.
