An invitation to celebrate the contributions of our local volunteers.

The Shire of Augusta Margaret River would like to thank local volunteers for their contributions to
the community. Please join us for a celebratory event in their honour, featuring the announcement
of the Volunteer of the Year and Youth Volunteer of the Year Awards.

Refreshments, food and entertainment (including a YAC kid’s zone) will be provided at this free, family-friendly and wheelchair accessible event.

Albany Terrace, Augusta - ongoing works:  flush kerbing, asphalt overlay continuing on from works commenced last Monday 12 Nov 19.  The works will be carried out between Deere Street and Blackwood Avenue and may take up to 2 weeks to complete (weather permitting).

Augusta Museum, Augusta - works being carried out is to the pavement area out the front of the museum.  This will include kerbing, brick paving the existing path and re-marking of the existing carpark.  These works will commence Tuesday 19 November 2019.

Warner Glen Road - works continuing, sealing and further earthworks

Wallcliffe Road dual use path - Merino to Devon Drive.  These path works are ongoing.

Ellis Street toilets

Commencing week of 18 November 2019, the Shire will be placing the hand rail of the stairs at Ellis St toilets.  The stairs will be closed while work occurs and will take approximately 2 to 3 days to complete.  Toilets will remain open and access will still be available around the site.  If you have any questions relating to these works please contact the Acting Manager Works, Grant Kirby, 0448 127 281.
